The game itself is still fun years later, I prefer the slower paced game modes because I don't need to be constantly glued to my phone to enjoy it. One thing that is driving me insane however is the constant in-game pop-ups offering discounted "gold" sometimes it felt like they shove these ads in your face every real-time minute. Fantastic premise. love it. it is though extremely pay to win. crazy so. I'd love to see more out of the Seasons with more things to unlock permanently for free players. I'd also love to see an offline mode versus only AI. 2023 November Update. Outlandishly good! Such a great game holy smokes. Been playing it for months and it's great. One of a kind. Could have been good, but turns into an expensive pay to win game, and on top of that the game mechanics break down the longer the game goes on, until after playing for 30+ days, it will freeze and become unplayable. FAIL!!! They will tell you that you can win for free with good strategy, but that's a complete lie if you are playing against someone who uses a lot of in game currency. Awesome concept, poorly executed. Needs an advanced tutorial. Requires way too long. Especially in the beginning. The problems I have are also growth. It takes months to get anywhere. You win based on attrition. Wait it out. Thats not fun at all. Make it 20x faster then your normal speed and more people will take to it. Also how expensive does each upgrade have to be? I've been playing this game for around a year now, and I might stop because of a growing problem that essentially makes the matches unplayable. I joined a server and got invested for a couple of days, low and behold a newbie to the game decided to buy enough gold to already be end game essentially dooming the server. Peeps who play the game for fun dont get a chance if there's someone willing to buy the win, and that's not the only time it's happened either. This game has a bad pay to win issue2024-07-22 17:21:52

It's similar to the creators WW2 based game. I personally have a lot of fun with it when playing with friends because it provides a fun strategy experience. The problem is that the map and UI are a mess to deal with, I like what they tried, but it's a bit too much. I would give the game 5 stars if the map was more simplistic like that of their WW2 game, but obviously with country and maybe art updates.
